The Diaz family is rooted in coffee, and for generations has been growing coffee in Oaxaca, Mexico. Saul Cortes is the fourth cousin of founder Fernando Diaz, and Saul and his family have been cultivating coffee on their plot of land their whole lives. Their farm was originally part of a larger estate which belonged to Fernando’s great, great grandfather’s brother and is bordering our own family farm, El Carmen. We’re overjoyed we could bring this coffee to the U.S. this year and have you taste another part of our family history
