With tenacity, grit, and a desire to give her family a better future, Rosalba Cifuentes started importing her family’s coffee to The Bay in 2018. She’s dedicated to helping small-lot producers in the municipality of Bella Vista earn a better price for their coffee. Our Mayan Harvest coffee is specifically from her four family members, two uncles and two cousins, within that region of Chiapas, Mexico. She personally exports the coffee into the Bay Area, and takes intentional measures of quality control and care to ensure the best price for the community’s coffee and to improve the livelihoods for the families of Bella Vista.
