El Carmen is the Diaz family farm, and we wanted to commemorate Grandfather Diaz doing what he loved most - tending to his coffee. He passed on his love for coffee to his sons and grandchildren who are now intimately involved with El Carmen’s coffee production. Before passing, Grandfather Diaz saw his farm come back to life, fulfilling a long time dream of seeing his farm revitalized and rebuilt.
